Congratulations to Coach Graves and the basketball team for making it to the Elite 8 and for Josh and Jalien who were selected to the All Regional Tournament Team. Coach Graves would like to thank all of the community, staff, and students who attended the games @ JSU!

All currently dual enrolled students for this semester will need to see Mrs. Brown before Friday at 3:00 for a mandatory grade check.

All juniors have been given two permission slips - one for ACT Bootcamp on March 8th and one for Worlds of Work on March 9th. Both permission slips are due before March 1st. If your student plans to have pizza on March 9th, $2 cash has to be turned in to Mrs. Brown before March 1st as well.

Your student was sent home with a permission slip for our upcoming vaccination clinic. The following vaccines will be offered: Tdap, HPV, MCV and MCVB. Please return the signed permission slip , indicating which vaccines you wish for your student to have by Feb. 21st. If you have any questions please contact your students' school nurse.

SGA and Key Club are partnering with the Pack-a-Purse program to assist mothers in need. The organization is specifically asking for donations of unopened bottles of lotion. Please see a member of either of these organizations or drop off your donations to Mrs. Simons or Ms. Smith.

Prom will be March 11th from 7:30-11 at the Rose Chapel in Attalla. Lead out will begin at 8. Tickets are on sale now for $30 each. See Mrs. Bristol or Ms. Smith to purchase.

$25 fee and must have all required paperwork completed in dragonfly to participate and tryout. You will need a signed physical by your physician.

March 20st & 23rd: In-Person Tryout Clinic from 3:00-5:00 in the EMS gym
March 21st: JV & Varsity Cheerleading Tryout Interviews @ 3:15 pm
March 21st & 22nd: Clinic from home- Material sent via Google Classroom.
March 24th: In-Person Tryouts-Varsity starts at 3:30 then JV, then MS

"The EHS band will be having their Majorette, Guard, and Dance line tryout clinics from Monday March 20th to Friday March 24th , from 3:00 until 5:30 in the band room. Please see Mrs. Smith in the Library or Mr. Peters in the band room to pick up your tryout packet".

Seniors, our Herff Jones representative will be here on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:45 in the lunchroom. Please see him to pick up graduation announcements or other supplies you may have ordered.
