I am a lifelong resident of Attalla and was educated within the Attalla School system. I graduated from Etowah High School in 1989. I was awarded a softball scholarship to Gadsden State Community College. My education includes a degree from GSCC and completion of Northeast Alabama Law Enforcement Academy. I have served in law enforcement as an officer for the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division since 2006. I also work for Dr. Terry Andrade as a scrub tech. This is my first term as a board member and I am looking forward to serving the next 4 years.
I have one son, Trent Dixon, who is married to Rachel Hale Dixon. They are expecting their first child soon. She will be my first grandchild.
My hobbies include horseback riding, camping, hiking, hunting and kayaking.
