This is my fifth year as the Librarian at Attalla Elementary School. I previoulsy worked for three years in Huntsville City Schools as a Library Media Specialist. 

I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and moved to Geraldine, Alabama my freshman year of high school where I graduated in 2002. I earned my B.A. from Jacksonville State University and my M.S. from the University of North Texas and I graduated in December 2019 with my Ed. S. degree in Library Science from Jacksonville State Univisersity.  I currently live in Albertville with my husband and step-son. I love to read, do photography, write poetry, and travel.
