I am a 1998 graduate of Etowah High School.  After high school, I attended Southern Union State Community College where I earned an athletic scholarship for competition cheerleading. I then transferred to Jacksonville State University where I was a cheerleader for 1 year and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education in 2002.  

My first three years of teaching P.E. was at Valley High School where I was the junior high basketball coach and cheerleading coach.  I then moved to Prattville, Alabama and taught P.E. at Marbury Middle School where I also coached cheerleading.  I moved back home to Attalla and taught P.E. at Emma Sansom Middle School for 3 years.  This is my fourth year at Etowah High School.  I currently teach Girl's P.E., I coach the varsity cheerleaders, and I'm the eligibility coordinator for the high school athletes.  I also assist with tardies and absences.  

I have been married to Joel for 5 years and we have 3 children:  Kaylee, Brayden and Bella.  I am so proud to be back at Etowah!  Once a blue devil, ALWAYS a blue devil!
